In Transcarpathia will pay tribute to soldiers-Afghans
Wednesday, 15 February in Transcarpathia will be held celebrations on the occasion of the Day of honoring combatants in the territory of other States and the 28-th anniversary of withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan. In Uzhgorod event starts at 11.00 at the monument "Grieving mother" on Orthodox embankment. The meeting will be attended by the soldiers-internationalists, leaders of the region, city, community and clergy. There will be the laying of wreaths and flowers at the foot of the memorial sign, a minute of silence. Events on the occasion of the Day of honoring combatants in the territory of other States will be held in all districts and cities of Transcarpathia.
