Chernivtsi honor the memory of participants of combat operations in Afghanistan
At the monument to those killed in Afghanistan Bukovina held a memorial service, after which those present put flowers at the memorial and wreaths. In addition, the Central Palace of culture held a solemn meeting devoted to the Day of honoring combatants in the territory of other States and the 28-th anniversary of withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan. In a sign of the bright memory of our fellow countrymen in the celebrations took part the warriors–twin cities, relatives of the victims, members of the public, local authorities.
