The representative of Ternopol "Invasport" Taras rad - double-silver medalist of the world championship on biathlon and cross-country skiing
135 representatives from 25 countries are participating in the world championship on biathlon and cross-country skiing among athletes with lesions of the musculoskeletal system and visual impairments. Such competitions will last till February 19 in the German city Finsterau. The national team of Ukraine is in the race and the representative of the Ternopil center and DUSSI "Invasport", student of Ternopil school-College named Josyf Slipyj Taras rad. Our fellow countryman has already won this year at the world championship two silver medals in biathlon among men in category browsing. So, on February 11, speaking on the middle distance Taras (pictured left) was second with a score of 37:52.2, losing to Martin Flagu from Germany who took first place (37:31.0). Third, this view was Hey Shin Hyun from Korea (39:37.4). The following "silver" our compatriot has won 14 of February in the biathlon in individual race at the distance of 15 km with a score of 48:01.3 with four penalties. Here again the first was Martin Fleig from Germany – the result of 44:39.4, with one penalty, and the Norwegian Trygve Stener was third (49:07.9) with three penalties.
