Tarnopolsky Anastasiya Merkushyna and Olena Pidhrushna won the silver medal of the biathlon world Championships
Our biathlete Anastasia Merkushyna and Olena Pidhrushna in the national team of Ukraine won the second place in the women's relay at the world Championships in Austria. The race was held on February 17 in Hochfilzen. The first two steps have overcome soukalova Gabriela and Julia Jim. And the second part of the race successfully held Tarnopolski. The third stage ran the youngest member of the team Anastasiya Merkushyna. And finished traditionally the team captain Olena Pidhrushna. Therefore, according to the biathlon Federation of Ukraine, the Ukrainian team was second only to the German team. For our national team of Ukraine this award was the first at this world Cup. Will add that the day before the mixed relay at the world Championships the Ukrainian team, which was made by the inhabitants of Ternopil Olena Pidhrushna and Dmitry Improvised, took fifth place.
