In luck prayer paid tribute to'Yat Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred of
these days throughout Ukraine are events dedicated to the 3rd anniversary of the revolution of Dignity. The events of 18-20 February 2014 were the most dramatic in the history of the Bromide when the regime used against its own citizens weapons. As a result of armed confrontation on the Maidan suffered thousands of Ukrainians and citizens of other States. More than a hundred people gave their lives for the right to be masters in their own country and to build a European future. Now we call them the “Heavenly Hundred”, a symbol of struggle and unity of the Ukrainian spirit. In this massacre were killed and volhynians: Basil Moses, Yuri sydorchuk, Mr Hamster, Sergey Badowski, Basil Grinevich, Ivan Tarasyuk and Alexander Bader. To remember countrymen who gave their lives during the revolution of Dignity near the monument “Volinsk the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred” and the grave of Basil Moses gathered relatives of the victims, the participants of the revolution of Dignity, representatives of institutions, enterprises, organizations, students and community of the city. Together with them, to pray for the souls of the fallen Heroes was also attended by representatives of regional and local authorities: the first Deputy Chairman of regional Council Alexander Pirozek, Deputy Chairman of the regional Council Roman Karpyuk, first Deputy Chairman of regional state administration Alexander Stepanov, Secretary of the Lutsk city Council Julia Vasenko, Deputy mayor Andrew Kish, members of municipal and regional Council. The clergy of the UOC-KP, headed by the Metropolitan of Lutsk and Volyn Mikhail held a service. Later, the participants of the event honored the bright memory of the Heavenly hundred Heroes with a minute of silence, the public laid flowers at it.
