Chernivtsi hold an international championship in cooking and pastry making “FoodLandBukovina-2017”
29-31 March in Chernivtsi planned to hold the international championship of culinary and pastry art “FoodLandBukovina-2017”. This large-scale event for Chernivtsi and professionals of restaurant business, which aim to enrich the experience of culinary and pastry arts. The championship is held with purpose of popularization of creative achievements in the field of restaurants, the embodiment of creative ideas to expand the range of culinary dishes and confectionery products, improve the level of training of specialists in the sphere of restaurant business. The event is organized by the Department of Economics of Chernivtsi city Council and GS "Bukovina Guild of chefs". To participate in the championship invited experts from the culinary and pastry skills, students of specialized educational institutions, institutions of vocational education, specialized schools, culinary and pastry arts. For the participants a unique opportunity to demonstrate their skills, compete with their foreign colleagues, gain new knowledge and experience of professional communication with international stars of the culinary and pastry arts, to participate in the galaxy of many professional workshops and training seminars. To the jury of the International championship of culinary and pastry arts "FoodLandBukovina-2017" will be composed of distinguished international judges WACS, world-famous stars of the culinary arts, which accepted the invitation and agreed to become official judges of the culinary competition. The championship will be conducted and evaluated according to the recommendations of the world Association of culinary unions (WACS) in the following areas: – art class confectionery and culinary arts (an artistic presentation of the samples in the preliminary run); – the practical competition (within the competition) individual and team forms of participation. In the championship will be held master-classes on cooking of dishes and sweets from top chefs in Ukraine and abroad.
