In Zhytomyr region the regional Council session began with the presentation of state awards.
During the ninth session of the seventh convocation of the regional Council the Chairman of regional state administration Igor Gundich and Chairman of the regional Council Vladimir Shirma gave area residents the state awards. By the decree of the President of Ukraine for significant personal contribution to development of veteran movement, courage, dedication in the line of duty, Patriotic education of youth and active public work was awarded to: "Order for merits of III degree", Anatoliy Tymoshchuk, Chairman of the Olevskaya of the regional Union of veterans of Afghanistan, combatants. For significant personal contribution to the state state-building, socio-economic, scientific-technical, cultural-educational development of Ukraine, significant labor achievements, high professionalism Decrees of the President of Ukraine awarded the honorary title of: "Honored worker of education of Ukraine" – Inna Grigorieva, head of Department, lecturer of the Department of Zhytomyr state University.
