This was announced by the Chairman of the Ternopil regional state administration Stepan Barna during a meeting with representatives of the media relative to the beginning of the two-month campaign of improvement. "We appealed to all, without exception, representatives of local governments in Ternopil oblast on the possibility of disposal of solid household waste of the city – almost all of them refused to accept the Lviv garbage in their settlements. So I informed the mayor of Lviv Andriy Ivanovich Sadovy about the absence of such opportunities," - said Stepan Barna. Chairman of the Ternopil regional state administration also reported that on the territory of Ternopil region there are now more than 740 dumps that also require attention and provide appropriate status - which is also one of the reasons for refusal in adoption of the Lviv waste on the territory of Ternopil region.
