Almost 49 thousand children of Zhytomyr region have improved their health and have rest in the last year

48 915 thousand children of Zhytomyr region was covered by the rehabilitation and recreation last year. This was announced by the head of the Department of family, youth and sports of the regional state administration Svetlana GRES 28 February, the meeting on the outcomes of rehabilitation and recreation of children in summer 2016 and targets for 2017. "Out of 139 464 thousand children of school age in 2016 in the area covered by all types of rehabilitation and recreation 915 48 children, representing 35% of the total. This is a 16.5 thousand children more than in 2015," – said Svetlana GRES. According to her, the organization of improvement and rest of children from the regional budget in the last year spent 13 million 624,2 thousand hryvnias. Of city, district, village and rural budgets – 14 519,4 thousand million hryvnia, which is 71 percent more in 2015 (8 million 499 thousand). Best coverage of children's health improvement and rest in Emilchinsky district (66.4% of the total number of children), the city of Zhytomyr (60,8%), Brusilovsky district (55,1%), Novohrad-Volynskyi district (54%), Chudnovsky district (52%).
