Community of Zhytomyr region can receive a grant from UNDP

Chervonenka, Noboborsho, Wysocka and Tetersky of the United territorial community have the opportunity to receive 12 thousand US dollars grant support of the UN development Program in Ukraine. This was announced by the Director of the Department of economic development, trade and international cooperation of the regional state administration Alexey Shatilo, who on March 1 took part in UNDP conference "Justice and security: the perspective of the communities in the three areas" in Kiev. — "As a result of active cooperation of the leadership of the region and team UNDP four communities of Zhytomyr region can obtain grants for 12 thousand dollars. USA. This support can be aimed at implementation of social projects in the region", – commented Alexey Shatilo. The UNDP project "Rule of law and justice for communities in conflict-affected regions of Ukraine" is being implemented in Donetsk, Lugansk and Zhytomyr regions from January 2016. The main objective is to strengthen access to justice, enhancing public and personal safety among the population.
