The luck of the VI-th international tournament on volleyball of memory of the outstanding athlete
4 March at 10.00 hours in the gym OBLASTNOJJ DYUSSH (Shevchenko str, 3) will start the VI-th international volleyball tournament among Amateur teams of memory of the outstanding athlete Sergey Semenyuk, which in a short time of his life did much for the development of men's volleyball in the city and in the field. Honored master of sports of Ukraine's volleyball, President of volleyball club "the Bearing" will be such Lutsk team "Alltrans", "SKF Ukraine", KDYUSSH ¹ 1, guests – team "emergency Beard" from the city of Kovel, "Bats 2" (Lviv) and "Spartacus" with M. Adamovka (Republic of Poland). In the teams fight for awards will lead the players who in the past acted and trained under the direction of Sergey Fedorovich. Reference: Sergey Semeniuk was born 06 February 1964, in the Republic of Kazakhstan. With school age has shown a talent for volleyball. He played for the school team at various regional school competitions. In his student years he played for the volleyball team of the Lviv Institute of physical culture and took part in the championship of Ukraine among commands of I League for the team "Motorist". Graduated in 1986 with honors. After graduation he served in the Armed forces of the USSR, played for the volleyball team "Dinamo" Brest. Subsequently, he worked in Lutsk bearing plant, played for Amateur volleyball team "Bearing". In 1992 he organized the volleyball club "Bearing" and became its President and patron. Together with the team as an athlete has passed the way from the Amateur League to super League of Ukrainian championship. In 1997 he created on the club sports boarding school, where he had the opportunity to study and improve promising young volleyball players. Sergey Semenyuk died tragically on 2 December 2010.
