In the Rivne region, the Prosecutor's office insisted on the arrest of the man who committed the attempted intentional homicide of his wife and during his detention had violence against the police

Rivne local prosecution is a procedural guide pre-judicial investigation in criminal proceedings on suspicion the 30-year-old resident of Rivne, who had committed the attempted intentional homicide of his wife and caused the officer bodily injury in connection with performance by this worker of their duties (signs of the criminal offenses provided by part 2 of article 15, part 1 of article 115, part 2 St. 345 criminal code of Ukraine). The incident happened 17.02.2017 in the regional center. The man, being in an alcohol intoxication, in one of the restaurants tried to cause the death of his wife. After a failed attempt to shoot from a pneumatic gun in the woman's head, the brawler has caused her numerous stab wounds with a knife. During the detention, a law enforcement man, he had actively resisted and used physical force to one of the officers, causing the latter injuries. By results of consideration of the petition for election of a suspect measure of restraint in form of detention, the investigative judge at the motion was denied, and the suspect elected a measure of restraint - house arrest. However, the Prosecutor of the Rivne local Prosecutor's office, disagreeing with the decision, appealed against it to the appeal. As a result, the court of appeal of Rivne region, given the principled position of the Prosecutor, and the nature, the degree of social danger and the gravity of the crime, 01.03.2017 reversed the decision of the trial court and ordered a new, which chose against suspected measure in the form of detention without the right of bail. A crime committed by a man referred to very serious and punishable by the Criminal code of Ukraine by imprisonment for the term up to 15 years.
