March 3, 2017, in Ukraine day of mourning for dead miners "mine "Steppe"
President Petro Poroshenko signed a Decree ¹52/2017 "On the Declaration of Ukraine's day of mourning" in connection with the tragic death of miners in the accident that occurred on March 2, 2017 at the subdivision "mine "Steppe" of the state enterprise "lvovugol". The corresponding decree, with the purpose of honoring the memory of the victims, on March 3, 2017 declared a day of mourning in Ukraine. According to the document, this day at 12:00 with a moment of silence will be celebrated in memory of the dead throughout Ukraine. The houses and buildings of state authorities, local self-government bodies, state enterprises, institutions and organizations will be flown at half-mast State Flag of Ukraine. Also on this day, canceled all entertainment events and concerts, which should be amended accordingly in the programs of TV and radio programs.
