In particular, the Deputy Minister presented to the doctors of the program "Affordable medicines", which should work on 1 April. By prescription patients can get free medicines or to pay for more expensive. The program covers three groups of products – from coronary heart disease, asthma and diabetes type II. The Government has allocated half billion in 2017. According to Roman Ilyka, redburst, i.e. full or partial reimbursement of the cost of drugs is an effective mechanism of the Ministry of health. The patient will get a doctor's prescription for the active substance and not the drug with a commercial name. The cheapest product of their group, the patient receives free of charge. Other medications that are in the program of reimbursable prescribed reference prices, it can get a little extra. Those drugs that cost more, people will be able to buy within a free market.
