"In the field there are three large communities, which legally has already completed the process of unification, however, the Central election Commission did not give them permission to hold the first elections for one reason only: they were formed in the two areas. We are talking about large full-fledged community of Ternopil, which is undoubtedly entitled to the successful functioning: Mostenska (about 20 thousand population), Zborovskaya (more than 20 thousand of the population) and Korotkevich (14 thousand people). The Verkhovna Rada adopted the bill "On voluntary unification of territorial communities located in the territories of neighboring districts," completely settled the issue", — said Vladimir Kharchenko. At the same time, the adopted Law regulates the procedure of formation of territorial communities around the cities of regional importance, which is in the Ternopil region there are four. Now the process of forming communities can begin Ternopil, Chortkiv, Berezhany and Kremenets.
