In Zhytomyr lovers read poems by Ukrainian authors
Readers-lovers of all ages, among them pupils, students and teachers took part in the regional contest of reciters. The competition is dedicated to the 203rd anniversary of the birth of T. G. Shevchenko was held March 15, in Zhytomyr regional Center of folk art. The aim of the competition is popularization of the Ukrainian language and the works by Ukrainian authors. Participants had the opportunity to read the poems of Taras Shevchenko, works of contemporary Ukrainian writers and elected according to their own preferences.
