In the Ternopil region held a round table on combating trafficking in human beings
March 13, Ternopil held a round table on the theme: "Strengthening of public control for formation and implementation of state policy in the sphere of combating human trafficking, in particular, in Ternopil region" in which prineo representatives of departments, managements, departments of the regional state administration, institutions and public organizations, the powers which include implementation of activities in the sphere of combating human trafficking, MPs and representatives of the National police in the Ternopil region. At the round table were discussed the following important topics: "status of implementation of the state policy in the sphere of combating human trafficking in the region in 2016". It was noted that an important achievement is the adoption of the regional program of counteraction to trafficking in persons in Ternopil region for the period up to 2020. Representatives TMGK "revival of the nation" presented the results of the project "Strengthening of public control for formation and implementation of state policy in the sphere of combating human trafficking", which was implemented with the support of the U.S. Agency for international development, the Canadian Department of foreign Affairs, trade and development (DFATD), Ministry of foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Norway (MFA) and representative of the International organization for migration in Ukraine. At the round table were presented the strategy of the information campaign in 2017, "Ask me what is a safe labor migration", aimed at the working population of the Ternopil region. Also discussed the draft of the social order in the sphere of rendering assistance to persons that suffered from torogul people in the Ternopil region.
