Five of the projects prepared by the Lutsk city Council applying for funding under the program of international cooperation
the First Deputy mayor Taras Yakovlev said that on 15 March 2017 completed the first stage of selection of projects on the transboundary cooperation program Poland-Belarus-Ukraine. The Executive bodies of the city Council of Lutsk took part in the contest and submitted 13 projects. Selection occurred in two priority areas: cultural heritage and security. The city Council was served by 9 projects, 5 of which were selected, will participate in the main selection and to qualify for funding under the program of transboundary cooperation. It is projects such as: - the project on reconstruction and development of the territorial center of social servicing (social services provision) in the city of Lutsk and reconstruction integration center, which will combine public organizations involved in rehabilitation and work with children with disabilities; - acquiring a specialized fire truck with a ladder, which will give the possibility to evacuate people from a height of over 40 m. This will improve the efficiency of rescue and will provide an opportunity to increase the amplitude of the number of storeys of buildings; the project, which includes a complex of measures on restoration and reconstruction in the Old town. A key objective is the restoration of the tower Czartoryski and arrangement there of the Museum; - placing intellectual center for young people. The project will be implemented jointly with the cities of Lviv and Lublin; - the project involves the construction of Bicycle lanes. Taras Yakovlev said that all projects are well prepared and have a chance to go through the second round of competition. He also spoke about the results of exit meeting of the inspection of construction of school No. 27. Noted that work is starting to get to the finish line, the main is already done. The total budget of UAH 100 million, and estimates completing the 48 million UAH, of which 20 provided from the city budget, while the remaining 28 million UAH, can be found through state and regional budgets. “The city Council sets the task to complete construction and repair this year, and to start the learning process on 1 September 2017,” - said Taras Yakovlev.
