Vladimir Kharchenko: In creating the communities we are moving from quantity to quality

Almost 20 consolidated territorial communities in Ternopil region is ready to expand. They have shown good results after the merger and is encouraging other communities to join these communities. This was stated during a briefing on 17 March, the head of the Department of town planning and architecture of regional state administration Volodymyr Kharchenko. "36 communities cover only a third of the region, so sooner or later the question arises of the formation of new communities. First, however, should be formed in communities around the district centers – Lanovcy, Zbarazh, Monastyryska, Zboriv, pidhaitsi, Berezhany, Chortkiv, Kremenets. This district centres around which have not established community, but by all accounts they should be educated. In addition, the draft law No. 5520 has settled the procedure for the formation of communities around the cities of regional importance – we have four of them: Chortkiv, Kremenets, Berezhany, Ternopil. Thus, the continuation of the administrative reform will occur in these two main areas. According to our calculations, we will try to make the number of communities does not exceed 50, however, in my opinion 30 may provide coverage of the whole territory of the region, viable communities", - said Vladimir Kharchenko. He stressed that in Poland, where the process of administrative reform, small community combined with large communities. It is possible that such trends would be shared in Ukraine. This was reported in the Ternopil regional state administration
