This was stressed in his speech Oleg Kohman, Chairman Velikosel of the United territorial community at the fifth meeting of the regional development Council. "Ternopil region is one of the first involved in the decentralization process. We have already 36 existing communities. In this process, we have good support from the regional administration. And thus, have jointly started the construction of the new state. This process begins with the support of the Ukrainian village. Raise the village – raise Ukraine", - said Oleg Kohman. However, he noted that the example Velikosel communities are already noticeable improvements proposed by the leadership of the state reforms. "We went to the village, we held many meetings and consultations. First, we talked with the youth because they are the driving force of any reform. Already is in the community open a police station, voluntary fire brigade, opened a new kindergarten, schools are equipped with computer classes and purchased additional sports equipment, installed playgrounds, renovated the offices of the prefects, lit all the settlements. And this is only a small part of what has been done over a year's time. Our goal is better living conditions in rural areas, and we are already seeing progress. Therefore, this path will continue, because we see a positive result," - said Oleg Kohman. Answering the question of the President of Ukraine, he said that the budget of the community cut 7 times – including education and medical subventions, it amounted to UAH 60 million. "Undoubtedly, this is a significant resource which helps us to achieve the successful implementation of our plans", - said the head of the community. Oleg Kochman also said that with the support of the Swiss project DESPRO community has developed and adopted the decision of the development Strategy until 2022. "We understand that to move blindly, without a "road map" - is ineffective. Therefore, we have identified key areas on which we will build a capable community is economic development and attracting investment; quality of life and active communities; improvement of the infrastructure," he said. Among the issues requiring resolution at the legislative level Oleg Kohman noted the need to permit communities to dispose of land outside the settlement. And also drew attention to the possibility to subventionner funds a little earlier – to have the opportunity to learn them on infrastructure development of the community.
