the Preparation of the Territorial defence units is a common task, are convinced in the Ternopil region. Those who in case of occurrence of an aggressor, ready to defend the region must have a sufficiently high level of theoretical and practical training. Therefore, to the defense of the region was the highest, the Ternopil regional state administration, regional Council, the city Council and almost two dozen non-governmental organizations, signed on March 24 a Memorandum of cooperation. "The Ternopil regional state administration assumes the main and coordinating function: to unite all who are willing to join to support the defense of our country. in each district area formed by a detachment of the territorial defence, which consists of about 300 people. More than 4 thousand people who are attracted to the units of territorial defense of the region involved not only in theoretical but also practical lessons. In many cases this is due to the public organizations, unions of members of ATU. This year the exercise was attended by 12 of the units of territorial defence of the region", — said the head of Ternopil region, Stepan Barna. The document envisages maximum participation of all segments of the population to the system of territorial defence, including combat veterans and participants of anti-terrorist operation in the East of Ukraine. In the future it is planned to create in Ukraine a powerful social institution of the territorial defence of Ukraine, the introduction of mass military training of citizens with the aim of increasing the defense capability of the country, the establishment of full support and cooperation of the public with state institutions in the sphere of territorial defense of Ukraine.
