March 25, marks the 18th anniversary of the death of Ukrainian politician, head of the National Rukh of Ukraine, Vyacheslav Chornovil. representatives of the authorities and the public laid flowers at the memorial plaque to the outstanding Ukrainian. The event was attended by Deputy mayor Andrew Kish. Addressing the audience, he noted that actually, if Chornovil was alive, many of the processes taking place in Ukrainian society, would go the other way. It was the generation who gave his life to the service of Ukraine. “He wanted Ukraine not in words, but in fact was independent and free. Its principles are relevant now, and therefore we must carefully examine his ideas and principles. Chornovil is the one that should take an example.
