Vinnichchina will join an international environmental initiatives as part of the national socio-environmental campaign "Earth Hour"
March 25, 2017 Ukraine will once again join the worldwide environmental initiative and will hold a large-scale all-Ukrainian socio-ecological campaign "Earth Hour", which aims to draw attention to the problem of climate change. The global campaign Earth Hour started in 2007, it is organized by the world wide Fund for nature (WWF). This year, on Saturday, 25 March 2017 at 20.30 people around the world will turn off lights for one hour, Earth Hour, to show the necessity of United actions for the conservation of our planet. In addition to the symbolic light off for 60 minutes, the campaign focuses on the daily actions of every citizen, aimed at the preservation of the environment, rational use of natural resources to overcome the problem of climate change and achieve harmony with nature. In addition, this year's Earth Hour in Ukraine, will focus on the conservation and extension of protected areas, which is one of the priorities of the Ministry of environment.
