In Transcarpathia will judge the engineer of technical supervision,which in collusion with Director of the society,forged acts of the performed works and gave 2,4 million UAH of state funds by the Prosecutor's office of the Transcarpathian region sent to
the Prosecutor of the Transcarpathian region sent to Beregovo district court indictment in criminal proceedings on charges of engineer for technical supervision forgery and misappropriation of 2,4 million UAH of budget funds through abuse of office (part 2 of article 366 and part 5 article 191 of the criminal code of Ukraine). The investigation established that the businessman, working as an engineer of technical supervision in December 2015, abusing his official position and by prior agreement with the Director of one of the companies, amounted to acts of the performed construction works which contributed false information. In particular, the documents they said that in December 2015, was completed construction works on reconstruction of sewage pumping station (SPS No. 3) in Beregovo according to design estimates, totaling more than 3.3 million UAH. However, according to the forensic construction and technical expertise, the cost of construction works amounted to slightly more than 99 thousand UAH, and engineer with the Director overestimated it at 3.03 million. The total cost direct cost is 2.4 million. In the future, those forged documents the Director submitted to the management DKC Ukraine in the Beregovsky area to carry out corresponding payment. Consequently, the account of local budget transferred the amount of 2,4 million UAH. It should be noted that during the pretrial investigation, the state refunded almost the entire amount of losses – more than 2.3 million UAH. Now the court will decide the fate of the accused, and the sanctions of the abovementioned articles shall be punishable by deprivation of liberty for a term from seven till twelve years with confiscation of property.
