School in Chernivtsi opened a memorial plaque to Leonid Periacinar
a Memorial sign to the fallen Hero Leonid Periacinar mounted on the facade of the secondary school ¹5 where he studied. In the yard of the school had gathered his family as well as colleagues, officials and caring Chernivtsi. "I worked as the Director of this school, when Leonid was there, there was – said the Deputy mayor Alexander paskar. But I do not remember that he had been in my office, because the Director is mostly underachieving students. He lived a dignified life and died with dignity. And in our memory will remain a fun and honest guy who is not indifferent to the misfortune of the Ukrainian people". Leonid Petihaki killed in Ilovajskij boiler 29 Aug 2014. He was born 16 Feb 1977 in Chernivtsi, he was a senior Lieutenant in the reserve of the 2nd battalion "Donbass" the special purpose of National guard of Ukraine. For courage and professionalism identified in the protection of state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, awarded the order "For courage" III degree (posthumously).
