16 million UAH allocated from the state budget for reimbursement of the cost of drugs in the Zhytomyr region
For reimbursement of the cost of drugs for the Zhytomyr region government allocated 16 million 4 thousand 200 UAH. State regulation of prices for medicines for treatment of cardiovascular diseases, diabetes type II and bronchial asthma is introduced from 1 April 2017. On the project for reimbursement of medicines says regional freelance therapist of management of health protection of regional state administration, head of cardadvantages Department of the regional medical Advisory diagnostic center Elena Ilchishina. According to her, for reimbursement of cost of drugs for the Zhytomyr region government allocated 16 million 4 thousand 200 UAH. These funds will be distributed to districts in accordance with population and sent to the health departments of the district state administrations of the region (and where they are not – the chief doctors of PHC centers). Recipes for medicines will prescribe outpatient General practice – family medicine. Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine ¹ 863 has approved a list of international nonproprietary names of drugs, the cost of which is reimbursed during outpatient treatment. For the treatment of cardiovascular diseases 16 approved generic names of drugs: amiodarone, amlodipine, atenolol, verapamil, gidrokhlorisiazit, spironolactone, furosemide, digoxin, enalapril, isosorbide dinitrate, carvedilol, clopidogrel, metoprolol, nitroglycerin, simvastatin, bisoprolol; for the treatment of diabetes mellitus type II: Metformin, gliclazide; for the treatment of asthma: beclomethasone, budesonide, salbutamol. Dispensing of medicines is carried out on the basis of prescriptions issued by healthcare institutions irrespective of their form of ownership at the place of rendering of medical aid to the patient on prescription blanks of form ¹1. The term of prescription shall be 30 calendar days from the date it was written. The recipe is stored at the entity for three years from the date of vacation. Every drug issued on a separate prescription. That is, the mechanism of prescribing remained the same as before. To avoid duplication of prescriptions (and such cases happened during the implementation of the Pilot project for the reimbursement of the cost of drugs to patients in hypertension), doctors secondary level are brought to prescribe.
