Deputy chief of Demirtzoglou in Vinnytsia region Alexander Sorochan, March 23, confirmed the diagnosis of African swine fever in one of the private farms of the village Town Illinetskyi district. "Already two hours we spent in Illintsi meeting of the extraordinary antiepizootic Commission which outlined relevant measures and immediately left on a scene. The same evening the number of a private person, was liquidated", - has informed Alexander Sorochan. He also noted that the next day was held a village meeting, where the specialists of the veterinary service has informed people about the situation there, and answered all questions. "On Saturday we held the first bypass households for inspection of livestock. No warnings yet. Such rounds should be two more, so we decided on further appropriate action," - said Alexander Sorochan.
