As have informed in inspection of architectural and construction control of the Chernivtsi city Council, in January-February 2017 on the territory of the city was put into operation of 17 thousand square meters of housing (for the corresponding period in 2016 – 11.2 thousand square meters of housing), which is 151,85 % to the corresponding period last year. Of commissioned buildings – 14.4 thousand sq. m. – multi-storey residential houses and apartments and 2.6 thousand square meters of individual houses.
