The event was attended by the head of Department of land protection, biological resources, nature conservation and integrated environmental management, Department of ecology and natural resources of the regional state administration Andriy Mahera, the Director of the Vinnitsa regional Museum of local lore Ekaterina Vysotskaya, head of the ecological-educational work and recreational improvement of the national Park "Podillya Karmalyuk" Liudmila Storozhenko, Director of the national natural Park "Karmalyuk skirts" Alexander Romanchuk, a specialist in ecological educational work Lily Soshnikova. According to the strategy of balanced regional development in Vinnytsia region by 2020, the Department of environment and natural resources regional state administration is working to solve environmental challenges in several priority areas, in particular, on the implementation of the state policy in the sphere of environmental protection, rational use, reproduction and protection of natural resources, waste management, provision of eco, conservation, formation, preserving and use of environmental network, informing the public about the state of the natural environment. "One of the main priorities remains to increase the area of objects of natural reserved Fund in Vinnytsia region. The strategy of balanced regional development Vinnytsia region until 2020 is the extension of the area of protected areas to 15% of the territory of the region. The highest percentage of wilderness protection remains in nemyrivs'ke, Chechelnitskiy and Mogilev-Podolsk district. As of 2017, the planned expansion of the area 2 and the announcement of 14 new objects of natural reserved Fund. Among them there are 11 landscape and Botanical reserves, 4 of the geological natural monument, as well as "Illintsi crater" ("Astrobleme"). Is the order of the Chairman of the regional state administration Valery Cows on the formation of the working group on creation of national Park "Central Podillya". It will be based on 4 areas: Vinnitsa, illinets'ke, Kalinowski and Khmelnytskyi. We will consider the question of creation of national natural Park "Dniester", which can be the basis of a transboundary Park and open the potential for the development of the international tourism infrastructure," – said Andrii Mahera. According to Andriy Mahera, recently representatives of the Department of environment and natural resources regional state administration was invited to take part in the Romanian-Moldovan project for the conservation of the biosphere and of the Dniester river, which was planned for the funds of the European Union. "In the future envisaged development of a joint tourist route. Among the priorities of the Department – development of local schemes of ecological network creation and administration of regional landscape parks, which now stands at four: "Murafa", "Dniester", "middle pobuzhya" and "Nemirovsky pobuzhye". Special structural units shall ensure the proper functioning and implementation of the environmental, social and research problems. At the initiative of the regional state administration introduced the clearance of indigenous natural systems. To perform the assigned tasks, the Department conducted the tender purchase of services for restoration of natural systems Chernyatinskaya, Mihaylovskogo, Stotskogo, komarhorods'ke Verhushka parks and Victoria Park. The results of the tender savings of about 70 thousand hryvnias of the planned 1 million 600 thousand. "Karmalyuk skirts" is nature protection, scientifically-research, cultural-educational, recreational and an institution of national importance, which is part of the natural reserved Fund of Ukraine. The natural basis of this Park are the existing Botanical reserves. Now is a perpetual campaign "Plant a tree", "Primroses", which attracts the participation of different age, sex, sphere of human activity. "The hallmark of Vinnitsa regional Museum of local lore is the skeleton of a mammoth, which in 1961 was found by children on the territory of the Park "Karmalyuk skirts." The 100th anniversary of the Museum is planned to come up with a name for this exhibit.
