Introducing "Map of the priorities and objectives of the Department of physical culture and sport of the regional state administration in 2017," the official said that in recent years significantly increased support for the sector by the authorities: "Therefore, in the past year compared to 2015 funding has been increased by 37264.9 ths. including from the state budget for 2432,4 ths. the regional budget – on 9960,0 ths. from city and regional budgets, for 24872,5 thousand UAH. As of March 1, 2017 in the regional budget for the financing of the industry is provided 52472,06 ths. what 7466,96 thousand UAH. more than was funded by the industry in 2016". This allowed to involve in regular sports 24083 persons (including children and youth sports schools 19591 people, in sports clubs – 4231 people). Summer Olympic sports were engaged 19785 man, neolimpiyskih – 3871 athlete, Olympic winter sports 180, sports of persons with disabilities – 247 athletes. As reported by Alexander Oleinik, Vinnytsya region in the year 2016 prepared 2 honored master of sports of Ukraine (Mykola butsenko – box and Alexander Marchuk – radio sport), 9 masters of sports of international class, 58 IAS and 4 honoured coaches of Ukraine, compared to 2015 year, this figure has improved.
