within the framework of the official visit to the Republic of Slovenia with the aim of studying experience of reforming of medicine in post-Soviet countries, representatives of Vinnytsia region continue to get acquainted with the system of the industry in the country. So, 05.04.2017 year, they had the opportunity to visit the University rehabilitation Institute in Ljubljana. History of the rehabilitation Institute began in 1954 with two branches for fifty beds. This Center is known throughout Europe for its achievements in physical rehabilitation and research developments in rehabilitation robotics, Boadicea engineering and prosthetics. Every year for treatment and rehabilitation in the center comes about eighteen thousand patients, more than 2 thousand pass rehabilitation in hospital. CEO Robert Kuzelj and Director of medical Affairs Professor Elena Burger acquainted the guests with particularities of the institution and, in particular, presented "Omni home" for patients, which operates in the Institute. In addition, the General Director of the center for Rudy Dolsak, Director of medical Affairs and Deputy for the development of medical services presented to the representatives of Vinnytsia region with the work of the primary health care Centre in Ljubljana, in particular with the functioning of the laboratory, simulation center, and the like. It should be noted that a feature of the strategy of health of Slovenia lies in its flexibility and focus on the needs of the population, which are based on entirely objective criteria: incidence, demographic indicators, the level of development of medical technology and the like.
