Chernivtsi: the public stops’will sign banning Smoking
To the end of the year, 300 public transport in Chernivtsi equip tabletkami with the inscriptions “Smoking is prohibited.” Soon they will begin to set. At the moment already purchased the materials for their manufacture until the end of the year it is planned to install them at all public transport stops. According to the law “On amendments to some laws of Ukraine on improving certain provisions on limiting places of tobacco (Bulletin of the Verkhovna Rada (VVR), 2013, ¹ 16, article 137) prohibits the Smoking of tobacco products and electronic cigarettes and hookahs: – in the premises and on the territory of healthcare institutions, educational institutions; – on the playgrounds and territories sports facilities; – in the hallways of apartment houses, subways; – in public transport, elevators; – in cafes, bars, restaurants, hotels, hostels; – in airports and at railway stations; – in the premises of state authorities, enterprises, institutions, organizations; – equipped on the stationary stops of route vehicles. The law also provides for, in addition to the restrictions and rights of smokers. In particular, “the owner is obliged to allocate special places for Smoking, equipped with exhaust ventilation, and to post relevant information”. Failure to comply with this paragraph provides a penalty from one thousand to ten thousand hryvnia.
