Acting mayor Igor Polishchuk has signed a decree according to which in Lutsk will develop a set of measures to prevent suicides and other accidents, identifying autoaggressive manifestations of adolescents, the implementation of a comprehensive preventive work on the prevention of manifestations of suicidal behavior in juveniles who are students of educational institutions of the city. According to the document, the Department of education is tasked to: - to develop the action plan for the prevention of suicide among children and adolescents; - distribute booklets on the safe use of the Internet, developed by the Center of practical psychology and social work among parents of preschool and educational institutions; - to strengthen work on attraction to extracurricular and group work of students “at risk”; - to increase the personal responsibility of heads of educational institutions and to strengthen control over the students visit educational institutions to inform the relevant services; - to check the organization of the accounting system visit by students of educational institutions; in case of violations to take measures to bring the perpetrators to justice. Service for children - improve the response to the submission of the Department of education regarding the non-attendance of students of educational institutions and implement appropriate measures to bring the minor to the training. The Department of social services for family, children and youth entrusted to: - to plan and conduct joint activities with academic institutions and the Center of practical psychology and social work for the prevention of suicides and other accidents; - to organize thematic line helpline; - provide support to social families in which teenagers are prone to suicide.
