Lutsk presented at the meeting of the local coordinators of the Council of Europe Programme “Intercultural cities”
the Director of the Department of culture Tatiana Gnativ took part in the meeting of the local coordinators of the Ukrainian network intercultura cities, which took place on 18-19 April 2017 in Odessa. The event was held in the framework of the Council of Europe Programme "Intercultural cities", which today is the 117 cities in more than 30 countries. The main event of the meeting was the signing of the Memorandum on the participation of M. Odessa National network intercultura cities of Ukraine (ICC-ES), which enables local representatives to expand the circle of international relations, to enlist the support of European experts, use network resources, to share intercultural experiences. Attending the meeting, the coordinator of the National network intercultura cities Ksenia Roubando said: "This is really a great day! We were joined by the cities of Odessa, which can rightly be called intercultural haven." During the meeting, local coordinators summarized the activities intercultura cities for 2016 and outlined plans for further work in the 2017 - early 2018. Presenting the achievements of the city of Lutsk for the year 2016, Tatiana Gnativ, briefed colleagues on the Programme with the work of local authorities and of the public in the implementation of the principles of inclusion, social and legal integration of IDPs from East and Crimea, protection and support of national minorities living on the territory of the city of Lutsk. During the presentation, you mentioned the participation of creative collectives in festivals, which took place in the past year in Poland, Italy, Germany, Turkey, the cooperation of luck with foreign partner-cities and the experience of participation in the project "Urban strategies in historic towns, to society" (COMUS). The participants once again showed interculture the importance of international festivals taking place in our city, including: "Christmas in Lutsk", "Easter in luck", "Poliske summer with folklore", "Walking hanger", "Night in Lutsk castle", jazz festival "Art Jazz Cooperation 2016" and "Jazz Bez 2016" and many others. The result of the meeting, the local coordinators of the network was the development and agreement of project benefits intercultura cities of Ukraine. Participants of the workshop, which was held in the framework of the meeting, working on the Handbook and discussed the contents of the provisions on interculture network of cities of Ukraine, peculiarities of realization interculture strategy, positioning elements of intercultural city-level Programme of the Council of Europe and the best practices of the cities-participants of the Ukrainian network intercultura cities. Luck sincerely congratulated Odessa with the entry into the Ukrainian network intercultura cities and expresses readiness to share its six years of experience in the joint implementation interculture policy and successful implementation of the principles ntercultural on the territory of Ukraine.
