Chernivtsi city Council made the decision to return gas networks community of the city of
Gas network, which are the property of the territorial community and at the time were transferred to PJSC "Chernivtsihaz" no charge for the balance and maintenance, the city Parliament decided to return the community of the city. This decision was supported by 27 deputies of the city Council. Acceptance of the property of gas networks of PJSC “Chernivtsihaz” and the beginning balance in the Department of housing and communal services will be implemented by the Commission. Acceptance of the property of gas networks of PJSC “Chernivtsihaz” the city obliged the Council to exercise within two months. Proposals to carry out an inventory networks, which are community property and transferred to the facilities of JSC “Chernivtsihaz”, to assess their technical condition and determine the need of funds, material and technical resources necessary to create utilities that will serve them, was not supported. At the same time the Department of housing and public utilities of this resolution to undertake the complex preparatory organizational work to conduct an expert assessment of the gas network and provision of its lease on a competitive basis. In addition, the decision to return the gas network to the territorial community of Chernovtsy supplemented with the clause on the abolition of paragraph 341 of the decision of the Executive Committee of Chernivtsi city Council from 10.06.2008 year number 43811, which released OOO “invest-Alliance” from the payment of share participation in the creation of engineering and transport and social infrastructure of Chernivtsi. Even before mayor Alex Kaspruk, given the appeal of people's Deputy Viktor Baloga, by order, established a working group on return of gas networks of the territorial community of the city. The group is headed by the Deputy of the mayor Vladimir Seredyuk, its membership includes the heads of all the six factions of the city Council.
