Luciana joined the charity action “Without rose-colored glasses” format
Despite the cool and cloudy morning, hundreds of residents came to the Park of culture and rest named after Lesya Ukrainka, to take part in the charity event “Without rose-colored glasses” in a sports format. The aim of the event is to combat the kantserofobiey in Ukrainian society and information campaign to support people who are striving together to overcome illness. Unfortunately, every hour in our country die of cancer 10 employees and everyone who is faced with this terrible diagnosis, will be alone in the fight against cancer. The treatment is too expensive, and these people are still in the beginning of the fight feel the bitter taste of hopelessness. All that remains for cancer patients – hope for help from family, friends, volunteers and associations of concerned citizens, who live only helping to fight for the lives of people with a fatal diagnosis. Funds collected during the current project will be utilized for purchase of BIO-1, to the Volyn regional Oncology dispensary and purchase of the drug Herceptin for the patient luchanky Victoria Romaniuk. Joined the charity and the Deputy of the mayor Konstantin Petrochuk. Before the event he said: “I am pleased that so many people joined this charity event, came to support cancer patients. Glad that we were joined by friends from Lviv, Rivne and Kharkiv. It is good that we have such events, together we demonstrate indifference to the problems of other people.” Konstantin Petrochuk wished those present good health, family well-being and peaceful sky over our heads. Management concerning physical culture and sports in cooperation with the municipal institution “Kharkiv city center physical health “Sport for all” of Lutsk city Council” prepared for uchasnikiv charity “Without rose-colored glasses” in a sports format. So, all participants started the event with a jog along the main alley of the Park. After fitness trainer Victoria Samchuk spent the morning smashtime, during which participants had the opportunity to warm up. In addition, the program of the event was performances of talented children and youth, competition of drawings on asphalt “Sport is health”, and the winners received tickets for a visit to the Lutsk zoo.
