Chernigov spent the Day of the environment.
April 29, in Chernihiv held the environment Day by cleaning the urban areas. In the citywide cleanup took part in Chernihiv city Chairman Vladislav Atroshenko, his deputies, employees of the structural subdivisions of city Council. Environment day in Chernihiv was part of a month on improvement of urban areas, parks, and improving the sanitary condition of the environment, which continues during April. Participation in carrying out of month of improvement this spring, accepted the labor collectives of enterprises, institutions and organizations, students, activists of public organizations. Around town cleaning be joined by residents and the private sector, which bring an order in their yards and houses adjoining territories. Also keep in mind that in this day in Chernihiv held a campaign called "let's Make Ukraine clean together" organized by the youth movement "let's Do It, Ukraine!". It is part of the international project "let's Do It, World!", which brought together 113 countries in order to take care of ecology of our planet. This annual one-day all-Ukrainian socio-ecological action of cleaning and landscaping of contaminated areas and the places of public resort. Action in Ukraine annually brings together about a quarter of a million Ukrainians and volunteers who will one day come to harvest. Chernihiv city mayor with city Council staff worked in the Central Park of culture and rest.
