Chernivtsi students will learn to provide first pre-medical assistance

As reported in the Department of education Chernivtsi city Council, from 15 to 19 may 2017 in the eight schools in the city, implemented the project "I can rescue life" in cooperation with all-Ukrainian public organization "Ukrainian Fund "Health" and the family Foundation of zagori, which is under the patronage of the spouse of the President of Ukraine Marina Poroshenko. The project is aimed at teaching students the basics of rendering pre-medical assistance in cases of circulatory arrest, airway obstruction foreign body, bleeding, burns, drowning. The project is aimed at improving the safety of life of the Ukrainian students and preventing deaths in schools. Participation in the project will take students of 9-11 grades of the Lyceum ¹3, military-sports Lyceum, gymnasium No. 2,3,5,7, school ¹28 and NPC "Lovage". The training program consists of interactive lectures and practical training theoretical knowledge on mannequins. Each student "will" in an emergency situation, modeled by the instructors, and to save the victim. During the training students will gain practical skills on a number of manipulations, namely: determination of breathing (triple reception), transfer of the victim in a stable position, restoration of the airway, removing foreign bodies from the upper respiratory tract, reception Hamli, conducting cardio-pulmonary resuscitation, bleeding control, relief of burns and drowning.
