And in the first quarter of this year, he said, were born more than 800 children. "In fact, this positive trend allows us to see the perspective of Ternopil region in a demographic sense," said Stepan Barna. It is the only institution in the region III health level providing highly specialized medical care for pregnant women, new mothers and newborns from groups of high obstetric and perinatal risk, of premature birth requiring high-intensity treatment based on the use of modern perinatal technologies. Now the renovated premises of the institution will be functioning 158 beds. Renovated house has Perekatov wards, operation rooms, gynecology and several chambers specifically designed for the delivery partner. Each room has separate bathroom — shower, WC, bidet. Due to this, the medical establishment has improved sanitary and anti-epidemic regime and overall it has a positive impact on the quality of medical services to mothers and children.
