Podgorodnee Ternopil region. According to the Minister, during the meeting with participation of representatives of the government and the sports community discussed the problematic issues in the work of the biathlon base, managed to avoid a further escalation of a conflict situation, compromise was found the most appropriate ways to return the sporting facility to full operation. "The situation with the base in Pidhorodne is quite complex, although the region is known for its strong sporting school - would be brought here well-known sportsmen such as Pidhrushna, Improvised, Merkushina and others. Therefore, our task was to maintain and develop the biathlon here, it is in the Ternopil region. We agreed that "spike" passes the object to state ownership, national center for Olympic training in biathlon, and the earth, we pass on the balance of this institution. Thus we maintain a database, and then use of various state instruments, including at the expense of Fund of regional development, but also develop it further. "The base in Pidhorodne is not only the basis for the preparation of highly skilled athletes, who are current symbols of the sport of biathlon of Ternopil and Ukraine, but also an important basis for the preparation of future generations of athletes, - said the head of Ternopil RSA. - Therefore for us it is important to regulate the legal status of the database and to take a clearly defined obligations. We are ready to continue to support biathlon in the Ternopil region, including at the expense of the local budget. We are ready for co-financing in projects of capital investments for the reconstruction of the biathlon this base, because the condition in which it is now the fault of current owners is unacceptable.
