Chernihiv mayor personally supervises the reconstruction of the square
During inspection of the reconstruction of the Park named after Bogdan Khmelnitsky Chernihiv city Chairman Vladislav Atroshenko instructed the chief of Department of capital construction of city Council Vyacheslav Pochep to solve the issue regarding the feasibility of installing additional benches, creating flower beds and fencing around the tracks near the Pyatnitskaya Church. The mayor not only inspected the progress of work performed, but also fixed the flaws that became visible to Chernigov. He made suggestions about the location of leisure activities and expressed doubts as to the correct placement of the tiled platforms instead of beds, which was near the Pyatnitskaya Church. Vladislav Atroshenko offered to put some fence not to make the Holy place pedestrian area. According to Vyacheslav Pochep, in the near future he will personally discuss the correct placement of the tracks near the Church with the Abbot of the Pyatnitskaya Church. In addition, the mayor went along with a designer on the walkway from red square to Prospekt Pobedy, which is too soon waiting for renovation. The corresponding decision of the city Council was made in September last year, and in November was determined by the budget. As noted by the head of Department of capital construction of city Council, reconstruction will start after the completion of the examination, the results of which have to be received before the end of this week.
