Sentence of the Uzhgorod city district court of three people, one of whom is a former employee of the National guard of Ukraine, found guilty of selling and illegal possession of psychotropic substances (part 1 of article 307 and part 1 of article 309 criminal code of Ukraine). In addition, one of them was also found guilty of providing premises for illicit use of psychotropic substances (part 1 of article 317 of the criminal code of Ukraine) According to the results of a lengthy trial, the court agreed with the Prosecutor's arguments about the guilt of the accused of the charges against them and has appointed punishment in the form of deprivation of liberty for a term of 4 years. Against two people, the court applied the probation of 3 years, and in the case of a single person, the court agreed with the Prosecutor's position on the need for the imposition of penalties with isolation from society, namely the need to serve a sentence of imprisonment without the use of a probationary period.
