In Chernivtsi gross violations of the legislation on labor protection have not been identified
Under the chairmanship of the Deputy of the mayor Alexander Accelerates on may 24, the regular meeting of the city Council concerning safe activity of the population. The meeting considered the question "About the state of labor protection and fire safety in treatment-and-prophylactic institutions of the city." Head of Department of collective agreements and working conditions Department of labor DESSEN Margarita stratiychuk informed those present about the state of occupational safety in these institutions. By results of checks concerning observance of the law of Ukraine “On labour protection”, conducted by the Department of labour the Department of labour and social protection of population of the city Council of the gross violations of the current legislation on labor protection is not revealed. Tested to ensure proper conditions of labour and social protection of workers, including those engaged in work with harmful and heavy working conditions, and the correctness of the lists of productions, works, professions, positions and indicators entitling them to preferential pension provision. Managers and responsible persons for occupational health and safety recommendations for elimination of deficiencies. To conduct inspections on compliance with fire safety of members of the Council informed the head of the Chernivtsi city Department of public service on emergency situations of Ukraine in Chernivtsi oblast Viktor Kolodiy, noting that during inspections, particular attention was paid to the condition of the electrical equipment, internal and external fire-prevention water supply, automatic fire fighting systems, evacuation routes, provision of objects with the primary fire extinguishing means, and the like. A number of issues related to the implementation of fire prevention measures, largely due to the lack of adequate funding and logistics. At the Council meeting also discussed the status of the water bodies located on the territory of Chernivtsi, to the spring – summer period, arrangement of places for beaches and for mass recreation near the water. This was reported to the Deputy head of Department concerning emergency situations and civil protection of population of the city Council Marina Palamaryuk. According to the decree of the mayor from 27.04.2017, ¹211-R, the place of mass recreation on water in spring and summer the territory of a city beach on the street Donbass, 5. Responsible for the content and organization of the activities of the city beach determined municipal institution "Chernivtsi city rescue service on the water." Management concerning emergency situations and civil protection of the population accepted the organizational and practical measures to prevent accidents and death of people on water objects, being in the zone of protection of the Chernivtsi rescue service on the water. During the meeting a number of decisions aimed at improving fire-prevention condition treatment-and-prophylactic institutions of the city and prevent the deaths of people on water objects of the city.
