Carriers of Chernihiv agree to carry schoolchildren at a reduced price until the end of the school camps
Chernihiv city Council held a meeting of representatives of the city authorities and carriers that serve public transport routes. Topic of conversation –the possibility of continuing the carriage of students of General education schools in Chernihiv at a reduced rate (UAH 1.75) at the time of school camps (until 21 June). The moderator of the meeting was the Deputy of the mayor Andrey Chernenko. As you know, in Chernihiv on the agreement reached with the carriers and is fixed by resolution of the Executive Committee of the city Council, the cost of a single passage pupils in the presence of a student ticket was set in the amount of UAH 1.75 1 ceresna 2016 to 31 may 2017. Essentially, what this step of the carriers towards society, because payments from the city budget this bargain price does not. Now, after the expiry of this decision, the city on numerous requests of Chernigov addressed to carriers with a proposal to extend the period of preferential transport of pupils to June 21. Carriers at the meeting today gave its consent. A draft decision of the Executive Committee is now prepared and is expected to be adopted on 6 June. Until June 6 carriers also promise to carry students for 1.75 UAH, but note that it will cause some conflict in tax issues, the solution of which they have not yet found.
