For the first time in Ternopil held a Forum network of free local politicians
9-11 June in Ternopil will be held the XII Forum of network of free local politicians. Forum topic: "Municipal enterprises in Ukraine". The Forum will be attended by over 40 participants - heads of communities, members and employees of local councils and administrations, representatives of public organizations and journalists of local and regional media from different regions of Ukraine. During the Forum there will be discussed issues of efficiency of work of communal enterprises in Ukraine; the tool of public control over the performance of public utilities through Supervisory boards, methods of improvement of work of communal enterprises. Speakers - Alexander Dugopolski, Ternopil national economic University, Vladyslav Stemkovskyy, the Executive Committee of Ternopil city Council, Andrey Vasilyev, the state enterprise "Ukrtelecom", Christine Zelinsky, public organization "the Center "anti-corruption platform." June 11, the program includes a panel discussion "Perspectives of utility companies in the Ukrainian communities". The moderator of the panel discussion – Viktor Andrusiv, Ukrainian Institute for the Future. The result of each Forum developed a resolution that is sent to the Central government with the aim to improve the functioning of local government.
