the Chernihiv regional state administration signed a Memorandum of understanding between the three parties: the Chernihiv regional state administration, Chernihiv city Council and the Company NAFFCO. The document was signed by head of Chernihiv regional state administration Valeriy Kulich, Chernihiv mayor Vladislav Atroshenko and the General representative of the company NationalFireFightingManufacturingfzco (NAFFCO) in Ukraine Abed aluan. In accordance with the provisions of the Memorandum, the Arab company as the investor intends to open in Chernihiv plant for the production of fire-fighting equipment. The products of this plant will be under the brand name NAFFCO, but will be labeled as "Made in Ukraine". Chernihiv city Council and regional state administration in the framework of the current legislation of Ukraine to promote the organization of new production with foreign investments on the territory of the regional center. The parties undertook to act on the principles of mutual benefit to achieve the goals based on the principles of transparency, openness, rule of law, equality, partnership, mutual help and mutual interest to each other. Currently, the volume of investments is not known, but according to representatives of the company NAFFCO for a start it is planned to invest about 1.5 million to 3 million U.S. dollars. Before signing the Memorandum, the representative of each party said a few words to the press. Valery Kulich: - We have a nice event: we are planning to sign a Memorandum of understanding with the NAFFCO company, which plans to build production facilities on the territory of the city of Chernihiv. The signing of this Memorandum will emphasize the interest of our region in this project. We hope that in the nearest future this enterprise will be built that will also create new jobs. Abed Aluan: Company NAFFCO manufactures fire protection systems and is one of the world leaders. We are very happy that we work together to produce products, and God forbid that it happened well. Vladislav Atroshenko: It is very important for the development of our city. Where exactly will be located the new plant, is still unknown. Choose a place - the right investor. We were offered several options, including on the territory of Technopark "Khimvolokno" where there is a possibility of connecting to the grid. But investors may have their views on it. If they are going to build the room from scratch, it could be some other place. We have negotiated with representatives of Arab companies and they realized that here the authorities do not have anything to give or fulfill any special conditions. We would be happy to support in the production and arrangement. They are now planning to invest in Chernihiv production of 2-3 million dollars. USA.
