the Delegation of Lutsk city Council participated in the Second German-Ukrainian partnership conference "Challenges and synergies in partnership in the framework of the tripartite cooperation", which took place in Lviv during 8-9 June. Lutsk was represented at the event: a. the head of Department of international cooperation and project activities of Viktoriya Homonazi and head of the Department of international relations of this management Anna Vncoc. The event was held in the framework of the project "Partnership with the cities of Ukraine", implemented with the financial support of the Ministry of economic cooperation and development Federal Republic of Germany. Besides the traditional participation of German and Ukrainian communities to develop partnerships at this time, the event also attracted representatives of partner communities from Poland and Romania. Participation the conference brought partners from Lutsk Region Lippe (Germany), Lublin, zamo?? rzesz?w (Poland). The participants shared their experience of successful implementation of trilateral projects. In particular, representatives of partner Region Lippe spoke about the youth exchange project within the grant program "Erasmus+", which was implemented in the summer of 2016 in Germany. The exchange brought together representatives of 9 European countries, in particular young people from Lutsk and partner-Kaunas (Lithuania) and the Region of Lippe (Germany). The conference was a good opportunity to discuss prospects of co-operation between the partners. Representatives of the Department of international cooperation and project activities conducted negotiations on specific developments to attract grant funds for the implementation of mutually beneficial two-and three-party initiatives on the topics of climate change, youth and social policy, exchange of experience and borrowing the best practices of urban development.
