In Ternopil honored the 125th anniversary of the birth of Patriarch Josyf Slipyj

Together with the clergy and with them participated in ceremonies attended by the mayor Sergei Nadal. “Joseph Blind always remains in the memory's memory of the Ukrainians as a great theologian and statesman who was taught to love Ukraine. In his speeches one of the main theses was that all Ukrainians are United spiritually. And this unity helped us to earn the right to Independence of Ukraine, - said the mayor Sergei Nadal. – Patriarch became a role model for tens of thousands of Ukrainians who were in the camps, thanks to him, the Ukrainians became invincible and stronger spiritually.
