In Ternopil regional administrations responsible for monitoring compliance with labor legislation
Held a conference under the chairmanship of Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Pavel Rozenko. On the agenda was the question of implementation of the current initiatives to raise the minimum wage to RS 3200. Vice Prime Minister noted that despite previous criticism and pessimistic predictions of skeptics, the first results in regions of Ukraine is quite positive. "The analytical data indicate that people really received at the hands of the money, which you can use to improve their well-being. That is the initiative of the President and the Government are quite justified," - said Pavel Rozenko. According to him, the average salary in Ukraine up to four months rose almost 40%, and is more than 6 thousand UAH, and the growth rate of nominal wages exceeds the rate of inflation. "No inflation-adjusted wages grew by almost 20%, while during the same period there was a fall of 3.5%. That is, the dynamics are very positive," said Deputy Prime Minister. At the same time, as it was announced during the meeting, the informal employment is a serious threat to the development of regions, especially the United territorial community, because then decelerated payment of tax and filling of local budgets. The penalty for violation of labor laws will now reach 96 thousand UAH. Therefore, the areas should be taken maximum measures for the introduction of a new system of supervision of observance of the labour legislation, in particular with regard to the payment of minimum wages and the formalization of workers. This must be done before August 1, the regional state administration is responsible for monitoring this process. As informed the Chairman of the Ternopil regional state administration Stepan Barna, as of June 1, 2017 in the area of the total amount of wage arrears decreased by 34% - in monetary terms – by UAH 2.1 million. In addition, Stepan Barna reported that in the Ternopil region, the nominal wage in April 2017 amounted to UAH 5152. in comparison with April of 2016 is at 49.7% and above. This growth is the highest among the regions of Ukraine, in Ukraine the figure is 136%. The index of the real salary in April of this year relative to April 2016, amounted to 132,8%. "We understand how important is the implementation of new approaches of state policy in the sphere of employment and wages, so in the field are also paying much attention to it. According to information provided by the Department of labor and social protection of population of regional state administration, the results of the measures taken 487 entrepreneurs increased the level of salaries as a result in the consolidated budget received UAH 3.9 million of the tax to incomes of physical persons and unified social tax. Additionally furnished labor agreement with the 1855 individuals in the result, the consolidated budget received UAH 2.7 mln. "The traditional perception of the Area as a depressed area change is positive. Weighty is your job to attract investors, because the companies of the international level high enough labor standards.
