Chernihiv: the chief doctors of the municipal health institutions to conclude contracts
At its meeting, the Executive Committee of the city Council introduced a mandatory use contract labor contract when the labor relationship with the chief physicians of healthcare institutions in communal ownership of territorial community of the city of Chernihiv. As explained by the head of the Department of health of the city Council Vladislav Cook, article 16 of the law of Ukraine "fundamentals of legislation of Ukraine about health care" determined that the heads of public healthcare institutions shall be appointed by entering into the contract for a period of 3 to 5 years. According to him, the new Statutes of medical institutions of the city, approved by decision of the Executive Committee of the city Council from September 1, 2016, provide for the appointment of chief physicians by Contracting. However, currently not all chief physicians of medical institutions of the city, the employment relationship is given in accordance with the law and introduced a contractual form of the employment contract. The decision of the Executive Committee adopted on labour relations in medical institutions of the city will be aligned to existing legislation. Also approved proforma of the contract concluded with the head of the health institutions of municipal ownership of the city of Chernihiv.
